Christian Education
Role of Committee: Charged with the responsibility of providing opportunities for members and others to be nurtured through the Gospel. This committee secures and oversees superintendents for the church school; oversees the nursery; establishes adult learning events; provides and cares for books, audio visual materials, and equipment; and promotes learning through the Gospel among all committees and groups within this congregation.
Activities Involved: Learning Hour, Vacation Bible School, Nursery, Preschool, Adult Education, Confirmation, Library
We Need People Who Can: Teach and help with Learning Hour, Confirmation, lead adult study, help with VBS, and help promote the preschool.

CONFIRMATION
Welcome to Confirmation at Immanuel. Confirmation is for 6, 7th and 8th graders. Ninth graders finishing up their study and the participate in the Rite of Confirmation the fall of their 9th grade year.
When? Wednesday evenings
- 6:00 Opening worship- sanctuary
- 6:30 Dinner- Parish Hall
- 7:00 Class
- 7:45 Closing worship- sanctuary

What we will learn-- Our theme this year is Who We Are.
Pilgrims- each student should identify an adult (preferably not a parent) to be their "pilgrim". Click here for details about what it means to be a pilgrim as well as the schedule of "pilgrimages"
