STEWARDSHIP

The role of the STEWARDSHIP committee is to encourage a generous and growing response of the members’ time, talent, and money in the support of the total ministry of Immanuel.

Remember this saying, "A few seeds make a small harvest, but a lot of seeds make a big harvest." Each of you must make up your own mind about how much to give. But don't feel sorry that you must give and don't feel that you are forced to give. God loves people who love to give. God can bless you with everything you need and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others. The Scriptures say, "God freely gives his gifts to the poor and always does right" 1 Corinthinians 9:6-9 (CEV)

Members of the congregation are invited to prayerfully consider your commitment and use the forms below to pledge your time, talents and financial gifts to support the ministries of Immanuel within our doors and in the community and world.

TIME AND TALENT

”Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. . . . Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it." 1 Corinthians 12:4-5,27

Immanuel Lutheran Church is blessed to have so many volunteer opportunities for members to serve the Lord. In order to help organize our volunteers, we occasionally ask church members to complete a time and talent survey.
