Our Vision: Immanuel is called to be a caring, compassionate and diverse congregation that is spiritually nourished through Jesus Christ and reaches out to the community at large.

Our Strategic Plan
In 2002, the congregation voted to pursue a visioning process to develop a strategic plan. Our strategic plan helps to identify our hopes and dreams for the future, set our priorities, and sets an action plan in place to help to attain those hopes and dreams.
Immanuel has a strategic planning team, comprised of a wide range of members of our congregation, which meets annually to review progress on our goals and set direction for our congregation for the upcoming year.

UP: Expand opportunities to deepen our relationship with God
- Explore expanding Worship Opportunities
- Continue Life Shapes Book Studies
- Initiate ELCA Book of Faith Initiative- Bible Studies
IN: Foster hospitality and build community
- Assess current levels of hospitality and take steps to be more hospitable
- Empower leadership by offering learning and training opportunities
- Encourage Bible study, prayer and devotions at every Immanuel gathering
OUT: Reaching out to the community at large
- View Immanuel as a mission outpost, from which we are sent to live out our Baptismal identity in our daily lives
- Continue established outreach ministries
- Explore the possibility of supporting the establishment of prison ministry
