Immanuel is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), is grounded in the Bible and Lutheran teachings, and celebrates God’s gifts through Word and Sacrament.
From Memorial Day weekend through the end of September .
10:00 am Worship
Christ is at the center of liturgical worship. Some parts of the liturgy stay the same each Sunday. This is to make sure that Christ is proclaimed and praised during every service. Some parts of the liturgy change every week. These changes are based on the Christian church calendar. Following this calendar ensures that the important events and teachings of Christ are celebrated every year.
October through the end of May
Immanuel offers two distinctly different worship services.
9:00 am Contemporary Worship
11:00 am Traditional Worship
Both services follow the liturgical format but use different music styles. Several worship bands lead the contemporary worship. The organ and often the Women’s Ensemble assist with leading worship at the traditional service.
