Immanuel was approved for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The funds have already been deposited into our account. What does this mean for Immanuel?
- Our current plan for mission and ministry will continue through the summer. We will be able to pay our staff what they would have been earning before coronavirus, and they will not need to file for unemployment.
- The PPP loan will be forgiven if it is used on payroll and utility expenses. (This is preferable to a line of credit.)
- As the impact of the corona virus on our livelihoods and economy remains uncertain, the PPP will enable us to continue our our ministry and mission obligations through the summer.
- We will be able to meet our financial commitment to the Montana Synod and other organizations.
