Upcoming Schedule

February 21 : QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer….Suicide Prevention Training (12 noon- 1:00 pm) Montana has one of the highest suicide rates in the U.S.   We can all do something about it!  QPR — Question, Persuade, Refer — is the most widely taught form of suicide prevention in the world.   This class — “QPR Gatekeeper Training” — is the psychological equivalent of CPR. Gatekeepers are those people in a community with basic training in recognizing the signs of possible suicidal behavior, and knowing how to intervene. A primary goal of Project Tomorrow Montana is to train as many gatekeepers in our community as possible.

Suicide happens in all age and socioeconomic groups, and is generally caused by feelings of hopelessness and helplessness.  Learn how to ask the right questions and get help for a person who may be feeling suicidal.
