Blue Christmas In this season of joy and festivity, we may have “blue” feelings of disappointment, worry, weariness, or deep sadness. As the daylight lessens, the memories of the past and the pain of the present seem to deepen and darken our hope for the future. We worship together to acknowledge this reality and to pray. The blue adorning our worship space is the color of hope. We pray for God’s presence and peace as we hope for the life of the world to come.
