About Pastor Molly Sasser-Goehner:
Molly (Sasser) grew up in Fairfield and Choteau, Montana, completed her undergraduate work at U of M and attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul. She was ordained in 2005. While attending U of M, Molly was a peer minister with Emmaus Campus Ministry and actually taught Sunday school at Immanuel in the late 90’s! Immanuel is Pastor Molly’s third call, after having served 5 years as Associate Pastor at King of Glory Lutheran in Billings and 4 years as Executive Director at Outlaw Ranch Bible Camp in South Dakota. She is currently completing work as Interim Pastor at Atonement Lutheran in Rapid City.
Pastor Molly joined Immanuel in May, 2014. She told us she is especially enthused about serving at Immanuel because: 1) we are actively seeking new ways to reach out to the community; 2) we are addressing facility update and accessibility issues; 3) we are a very active volunteer force; 4) it’s an opportunity to work with a young, talented worship and music director already on staff; and 5) Missoula is close to her parents (Choteau) and brother (Helena), who will be a huge help in welcoming their first child, Luke Percy, who was born in June.
We believe God continues to bless Immanuel by bringing Pastor Molly to us. We ask for your continued prayers as we move together in our ministry with Pastor Molly.
