Worship in the Woods  Mark your calendars for the 4th Sundays of July, and August at 10am for Worship in the Woods at the Pattee Canyon Picnic Area!  Worship in the Woods is a new, summer worship opportunity from Immanuel!  Many of us talk about spending time in nature as another “church” and this is a chance to bring these two parts of our spiritual lives together and worship in the midst of God’s creation!  The worship service will be simple and include communion, scripture and other readings, prayer, contemplative questions, open time to sit/hike/jog and let Creation preach to us.  We will meet at the Pattee Canyon Picnic Area and you’ll find signs/greeters to point you to our picnic site. This area is ADA accessible, includes a vault toilet, and the whole worship service will be designed for people of all physical abilities who enjoy spending time in Creation.  You are welcome to bring camp chairs, water, snacks, and whatever else you need to be comfortable outside for about an hour and a half.  Worship in the Woods takes place during our regular worship time at Immanuel, but we trust that God’s Spirit connects us no matter where we worship!  Contact Pastor Rebekah with questions.
