Food Bank Thanksgiving Volunteers Sign up for the Missoula Food Bank Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution on Sunday, November 22 from 11:15-1:30 with a group of volunteers from Immanuel Lutheran Church. There are 13 spots still available. Please email Sonja Wolsky at sonja@imluchurch.org and let her know how many people will be volunteering. This is a great opportunity to do “God’s Work, Our Hands”. 

Part Time Bookkeeper Needed Immanuel is looking to hire a part-time bookkeeper. The hours are flexible and average around 10-15 per month. We are looking for someone with basic bookkeeping/accounting skills who also has some knowledge of Excel. Our payroll, quarterly and annual tax reporting are done by a 3rd party vendor so only a little work involving payroll type items required. Reconciliation skills are also a bonus. We are looking to start training this person the beginning of 2025.

Service Committee leaders needed The Service Committee is looking for two team leaders.  One to  lead up the Red Cross Blood Drive and one to lead up the Habitat for Humanity Build.   The responsibilities for the Red Cross Blood Drive team leader is to coordinate one or two blood drives at Immanuel during the year and be the liaison between the Red Cross and Immanuel.  Georgia Cobbs is willing to train the person and answer any questions.  

 The Habitat for Humanity team leader is the liaison between Habitat and Immanuel sharing the information about the Habitat Builds (usually once or twice a year). They would also have the option to attend the monthly Volunteer meeting held on the first Thursday at noon.  Questions- talk to Tove Elvrom.
