Giving Tree Each year Immanuel identifies Missoula families to receive gifts and food through our Giving Tree program. This year families were selected from the Carole Graham Home, Washington Middle School, Family Promise Alumni and families from our own congregation. New families are selected each year. There are many ways to be involved, volunteer and/or give.
RIC Immanuel’s Reconciling in Christ team sent out a very short survey with our proposed Welcome Statement to the whole congregation recently. Please respond by November 30 and let us know what you think. If you misplaced your letter or the online link, please contact the church office for a replacement. Thank you!
Giving Tuesday Thrivent is working with the Montana Food Bank Network to help raise funds. They are hosting a celebration at the Highlander Brewery the evening of Tuesday, November 29. All are welcome!
Family Faith Gathering December 4th, 4 pm-6:30 pm A round The Table-A multi-church and multi-cultural family gathering, celebrating the Christmas season. Sharing song, craft and food from multiple Christian traditions and cultures. There will be a open mic, advent crafts, and a potluck. Languages will be English and Swahili. John Hermanson (of Story Hill) Concert Sunday, December 11 at Immanuel. 6:30 pm light appetizers, 7:00 pm Concert. Free will offering will offering for scholarships of music students at Mwika Lutheran Bible and Theological College in Tanzania.
Nomination Committee We are looking for suggestions for people to serve in a variety of committee positions. See nomination committee members with ideas or questions. To nominate someone write their name on the yellow cards and place it in the offering plate or drop it at the church office. Youth Activities Colter Murphy will bring a group of youth to the January 13 –15 Ski weekend sponsored by FLBC, open to middle school and high school. The highschool lunches will resume in January. Seeking adult volunteers for both activities
