Service of the Word – Outdoors, Sunday, August 16, 9 a.m.
Blessing of the Backpacks – Outdoors, Sunday August, 23 at 9 a.m.
With pandemic restrictions, it will be a strange fall for students, teachers, and faculty from pre-school to K-12 to college. Students, teachers, and faculty are invited to bring a backpack or other sign of their participation in education. We will have prayers and blessings for all students and educators in these most unusual times.
Blessing of the Animals – Outdoors, Sunday, August 30 at 9 a.m.
Many people have adopted new pets during the pandemic. Bring your old or new pet or a picture of them to church for blessings and prayers. Please make sure all animals are on a leash or in a crate/cage, no matter how kind, gentle and friendly they might be. Bring a picture or the name of your pets who have died as we will remember them in prayer, too.
